In 1784, LE SUPERBE was
launched from the Brest's shipyard. Three masts, two decks, and
extreme maneuverability from the famous marine architect, Jacques
Noel Sane. Seven hundred men were necessary for the smooth running
of the vessel. A great war machine with 74 guns; she foundered in
a storm in 1795.
We brought the LE SUPERBE back
to life at a scale of 1/150 with its maze of masts, sails and
ropes. A beautiful piece of historical art at a meter in length is
a tribute to our master artisans.
